My problem is simple but is driving me mad.

I have been (trying) to pole for a couple of months now but for some reason my body is intent on spiralling in towards the pole on nearly every move I do which means I’m too close to the pole and so struggle, especially with moves such as the floater.

Any ideas on how to prevent this would be really greatly received as I am desperate to up my game and begin to look more capable than I currently do.

Saturday March the 7th 2009 Polers Paradise will be having this years first competition.This one will be open to all classes and the winner will get £50 cash prize.

For those who don't know me i am Donna one half of the miss pole dance uk winners doubles team, i also did the miss pole dance uk comp in 2006 (singles) and placed 5 th.

We are hosting a pole jam in order of a local charity to us called the charnwood christmas toy appeal which gives under privilledged children a better christmas.

We are asking those who come to make a donation which can be as big or as small as you like.

All levels are welcome to come.

There will be two competitions coming up for the summer months.
One for beginners and one for intermediate level,they will both consist of your own 2-3 minute routine to music and in heels!
Prize money will be for the winner of both levels and is only open to class members unless otherwise confirmed with Polers Paradise management,that's just to make it fair.
Beginners will be on Saturday 21st of June 2008
Intermediate will be on Saturday 26th of July 2008

Are you a professional dancer and dont mind the stigma? Do you think the soul & passion of dancin is being mocked, as some girls do it for fun and still stigmatize & label the professional side to it?
